I am really looking forward to starting my rehab next Tuesday and I’m hoping at the end of it I will feel better than I have in a long time. Nov 2016 I had my first stents fitted, I was living in Spain at the time and while the care was excellent there was no aftercare. In Sept 2017 I was taken into hospital again with chest pain and had a restent after one of my original stents collapsed, then we moved back home to UK in March 2018. I had an angiogram in July 2018 and was told I need yet another stent which was fitted 4 weeks ago. I haven’t been able to do much since 2016 so starting rehab next week is something I am hoping will get me back or at least a bit like my old self. I have read so much about rehab and it’s just what I need to get me moving again. Thanks for listening.

Hi Joan. Glad to hear you have had your stent. Rehab will help enormously. Helps with fitness of course but most importantly because you are supervised it helps. Also you have contact with health care professionals who can answer all of your questions queries and concerns, both at the sessions and on the phone. Many also offer follow up exercise classes at local leisure centres as well. Can’t wait to hear how you get on. Brilliant news. Take care. Zena xx
