Hi all I had my heart ct scan 4 weeks ago today but have heard nothing yet , how long does it normally take to Get the results all I was told on the day was that it would be passed onto my cardiologist, I don't want to start ringing if it's too soon and bothering the already overstretched staff , thanks all in advance

You shouldn't worry about phoning the hospital staff, it's a legitimate enquiry and they'll be fully geared up for providing answers to exactly this question, I guarantee they'll hear it several times each day!

Give his secretary a ring , find out her name and be pleasant, polite and courteous. She should be able to tell you what is going on and when they can fit you in for a chat. If you are available at short notice, let her know and she may be able to slot you in if they have a cancellation
