Good day! My mother has heart failure, valves have been changed in 2016, since then everything is getting worse and worse, the muscle of the heart is pumping badly. Because of this, the kidneys are no longer able to cope, the edema is large, the fluid is pressing on the organs. How can I not know, but our medicine is not developed. Help me please! We live once, I would like my mom to be healthy and happy.

How old is your mother? Outcomes and expectations change with age unfortunately.

Hello Of course you want your Mom to be healthy and not to suffer it's the hardest thing to watch someone you love deteriorate. Is your Mom in contact with Dr's and Nurses to see if anything else can be done to help with her symptoms. Sometimes us humans do not have the solutions. You being with your Mom will be more important to her than you may know. Take care of yourself too.

Добрый день! Моей маме 56 лет. Она еще молода. Сейчас она в больнице в тяжелом состоянии. Стул черный, моча низкая. Отек все больше и больше. Дышите тяжело. Помогите пожалуйста хотя бы советом!

Dorry, all I can gather is your mum is 56. This is relatively young and it sounds like she should have a better quality of life. The reason I asked if that occasionally some people have unrealistic expectations for the very old where the main aim has to be to make their remaining days comfortable. I have no real knowledge of heart failure but others here do. In the interim this BHF booklet may be helpful:

It is feasible for you to ring the BHF nurses tomorrow (Monday).

ALl I can say is talk to the doctors- insist on seeing someone. When my mum was in end stage heart failure her stomach was enormous but we couldn't find a single doctor willing to talk to us and explain. Good luck.
