Does weight training in the gym cause any risks after a stent? It’s been 15 months since my HA and around a year since I joined a gym. I’m really enjoying the training and have recently increased the weights. Just wondering if it poses any risks?

6 years down the road and weight training and I am fine. I walk run cycle and gym. Canoe in summer. Is it bad for me... I don't think so. My doctors are happy. But I am me and you are not me. So it could be different for you. Could ask your doctor.
Well I feel great at the moment. I’ve also been playing squash for the last 20 years at least 2-3 times a week, played county leagues plus club competitions. Since the HA I’m taking it more in my stride and recently started playing again. The gym training is helping me build a stronger body so I’m sure it’s all good. Thanks!
If that's the case do as I did and slowly push a bit further and let your body tell you. I started out just walking. I was walking so fast sometimes I just ran up a hill in the woods. That felt good so I started running in the woods once a week. Little bit at a time listening to my body.
Sounds great! It’s about listening to your body and tbh I’ve always tried to push myself a bit further but obviously not getting any younger by the day though!
