Hi Lynn

That’s amazing , I have been doing our local Walk for Health which is organised by the doctors surgery it’s a brisk 30 minute walk one a week around our local town. It’s a good way to meet new people and stay active

My whole recovery has been based on walking for which I have found a real love for

Good luck with the club

Don't forget your local parkrun ( and don't get put off by that word "run") -- lots of people walk their 5k at parkrun.

I was organizing 2 walking groups when I had my episode just over 2 years ago and was told that I mustn't hill walk any more. After my ICD was fitted and I was recovered I started a Walking for Wellness group for people that couldn't manage the longer walks. I now run the 3 groups and average around 25 soles on the walks.

I have to point out that this is in Southern Spain where nowhere is flat.
