My angiogram showed my main arteries were not to blame, the problem lay in a small vessel a spin off the main vessel.

Absolutely

And that is what I'm trying to get through to my cardiologist

When I went to see the cardiologist in May I told him about an article in a Dutch womans magazine about micro vascular angina and that a lot of it mentioned the problems I had, he said yes you are right that is what you have. No tests done, he then increased the medication I am already on. I had unstable angina some years ago and had 1 stent. It seemed an odd way to diagnose, but I have been well since.
