Probably not unless you are an athlete. Would also very much depend on what your diagnosis is, what medication you are on

As previously said, it would depend on what medication you're on and your level of fitness.
I'm on beta blockers, which lower the heart rate. My resting rate is also 45, but will drop as low as 37 bpm while asleep.
My cardiologist and GP are both fine with that.

diagnosed with low heart rate 42. plus AF. Always felt great always had same,rate always kept fit. Never had pain, fatigue or felt faint or short breath. 2 days later doctors fitted pacemaker. Said hr dangerously low for my age 74. Regularly trained hr to 140 bpm no problems quick recovery 2 minutes down to 8o 20 mins back to 50. So why P Maker
They would not let me out of hospital. Walked 5 6 miles with brother no pain or discomfort Did some hill walks in Cheviots 2 3 hours 4 months ago no problems.
