Angina and normal bp??
Yes, it is. Have you been to see a health care professional. In recent weeks you have asked a number of questions that are not always consistent with narrowing of the major coronary arteries. You may, for instance, have Prinz-metal angina. You need to see someone as the net cannot diagnose the problem!
I’ve been. I went last week. I spoke to him and told him my symptoms, he listened to my heart, and said it was strong, tested my oxygen levels which were 99% and did my blood pressure, my heart was racing as I was anxious and it was 130/60.
I explained that I get random stabbing pain/ tightness that lasts for about 10-30 seconds, he said anything heart related would last much longer. He asked if it ever happens during exercise and I told him no. I also suffer from bad anxiety, and he put me on propranolol 40mg. I should trust a doctor I know, but was asking on here too.
What I thought was Angina was as a result of exercise, it was not like a stabbing pain, and it lasted about fifteen minutes one time and an hour or more the second.
My blood pressure was normal when they tested it, but not as low as yours.
I went to the Cardio clinic, but got no answers, other than that I can exercise.
Yes it is possible to have angina and normal BP - it’s what I had pre triple CABG
My Unstable Angina was caused by a "floppy artery" that closed now and again. Other than that everything was normal. Further down the line, result being a triple By pass.
