Gallbladder recovery time and back to work!!

Hi can anybody talk about how long they took off work after having gallbladder removed?

A colleague of my girlfriend was back at work after a month. She though did have keyhole surgery. I imagine if it is done via a large incision (keyhole is not the most suitable for some people) it would be a few weeks longer. The type of work you do will also come into it.

Wow one month is long time!

Hi hidden I had mine out last Feb after having acute sever pantetitis and clitsbon liver due to gallstone coming out and blocking my bile duct was in intensive. Care 1 week had to wait 3 months for things to settle as I said came out in Feb 12 was back at work two weeks later but could not do heave work depends on keyhole it open open they say a month
