Hi to All of you that replied.

I sat at home and thought back to the phone call I had from the Hospital on Tuesday. And after discussing what would be sent in a letter to my GP and myself, I then said so I can stop taking the Beta Blocker as of tomorrow! I was told there and then in no certain terms was I to stop taking my Beta Blocker that suddenly. I was to wait and make an appointment with the GP once I had received my letter. Which I only got yesterday (Sat). As my prescription would have come through on Friday, I told the chemist I would collect it on the Saturday. So when I went to collect it, it had been stopped by GP Receptionist! The Pharmacist was not there? The GP had sent my prescription through though?? I came back and looked at my letter, which stated for the GP to CONSIDER stopping my Beta Blockers! I guess once She and I had discussed this? So I took my letter back up to the chemist and spoke to the Pharmacist who was back from lunch. And after explaining to him what the hospital had said, he said that as the GP had sent the prescription through, he would fulfil it for me. He did ask why they were taking me off them? I said until I have my appt with the GP I was not really sure, as it stated I could go back on them if my Angina Symptoms became worse. So I came away feeling much happier. I feel ill enough as it is, with out the stress caused by this. So thankyou all for your replies. I will be visiting the GP Surgery tomorrow and will make a complaint to the Practice Manager as well.

Regards Dee
