Appointments for echo

Hi, I've been under cardiologists for a few years now. I'm having a stress test with the injection, I'm ok with that as I've had one a few years ago, but cardiologist also asked for an echo, but the appointment came through for November, do you think this is ok. I see cardiologist in two months time, should I be having both tests before then so results are through. Thanks in advance.

I would ring the cardiologist's secretary to discuss. My diagnostic stage seemed to drag on after a six week wait for the Urgent Chest Pain Clinic. The echo took place over three months after my initial consultation. When you are in the cardiology waiting area you can see how busy they are!

Thanks Michael I have rung and left a message over a week ago, but knowing how busy they are I don't like to keep ringing. The last time he ordered this they rung me up to go the following week so I'm worried about the wait.

Ring the imaging department to check. If they unsure they can refer to a consultant and call you back.

I will be having a Dobutamine test soon so I'll soon know what's going on.

I've had the test and showed nothing unusual so what normally happens next? I see cardiology October. Thanks in advance.
