Welcome to the forum! It is unclear to me exactly where you mean. I would suggest you see your GP as there is a very slight possibility of an infection especially if it has been there since the bypass.
I had my bypass June 2017. Generally I am very well but occasionally I get very bad pain around the chest wound accompanied by painful breathing. This usually lasts a few days then goes completely.
I just put down to the surgery after all it is a serious operation.
