Hi Sewsew

You don't say what meds you are taking, but it's always a good idea to speak to your pharmacist, they are very very knowledgeable. Mine told me that Paracetemol were far better than NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen and I could take hem as and when required.

I am on Ticagrelor and Bisoprolol, plus usual statins, asoirin and Candersartan

After my bypass I was discharged with the usual array of drugs including paracetamol for background pain relief. As Fredbeare had said check with your pharmacist as they tend to be better on drug interactions being on the "coal face" so to speak.

I was diagnosed with heart failure 4 weeks ago and hospital prescribed ramipril, bisoprolol, furosimide as well as paracetemol. Always check with your GP or pharmasist though

I was told to take paracetamol post CABG when I was also taking Bisoprolol, Ramipril, atorvastatin, and aspirin. I think the answer to your question will be yes!

If you are on aspirin, as a lot of people are with heart conditions, paracetamol is the best to take. Don't take ibuprofen (Nurofen) as this will interact with the other medications. However, if you are having regular headaches, I would say you really need to go back to your GP to discuss as this is sometimes a side effect of medications or a sign of BP needing to be looked at. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Sewsew

You don't say what medications you are on-but it's always best to check out any medications with your pharmacist-take your list of regular medication along with you and they should be able to help point you to suitable over-the-counter pain relief.
