headache

Hi Tedsmam, yes I have a headache and also feel lethargic following an AF episode. Keep well hydrated and rest if you feel that you need to is my suggestion. Look after yourself.
Oh yes! That and the following dizziness and total exhaustion. My heart also 'hurts' if my rate stays too high for too long. Taking GTN helps with the heart pain, but makes the headache worse so I hold off until I really need it.
I have the same systems as well. Headache, pains in the chest/back and heart and I get surging sensations within my body
yes I always had headaches and when episode was long I felt as if I had ice in my veins , feeling weak. Not pleasant feelings at all. I have recently had AV node ablation, - a big step for me but hoping it does the trick me. Good luck.
Thank you I was told it was due to blood pressure being high whilst having AF , good luck to you too
Yes always!! Light headed and dizziness too. It usually takes about 3-4 days to wear off and feel totally wiped out. I dread having an episode, they are horrible.
I hope they don’t last too long for you? x
Yes i have palps which i call thumps followed by headaches which are then followed by loss of memory !. Im looking forward to normality with a.ac node ablation in 2 weeks. No more drugs ?
