Hi Kundai, sorry to hear you’re having a bad time following your op. I had my second AVR last November and this time I had a mechanical valve fitted. I too am on a load of medication, including warfarin. You don’t say what you are struggling with. Is it the fact that you’ve had to have heart surgery at such a young age or are you having other problems, either physical or mental? It’s worth checking the side effects of your medication, if any of them ring true for you speak to your GP. I had problems with an irritating cough when I took ramipril so they changed my medication and was fine. There are a lot of us on here who’ve been through heart surgery so please ask any questions you have, between us I’m sure we can help.

Hello Kundai , are you also taking Bisoprolol? This is well known for causing tiredness and lethargy, I know because I’m on it.
