My husband had a massive heart attack while we was on holiday in Ireland. They fitted a stent on same day he had heart attack. Just came out of nowhere. My husband is a very fit 70 year old ( he thinks he’s still in his 50s), he’s competed in half marathons, loads of obstacle races and other running events. As you could imagine this has changed him completely. He saw a cardiologist a couple of weeks ago and he is on urgent waiting list for a pacemaker as his heart rate drops dramatically when he is sitting down then goes sky high as soon as he stands up.
