Hi, I was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy a few months ago. Seems its inherited from my mother, who died of heart failure, though she never mentioned cardiomyopathy to me. Next month I'll be going to a meeting of my local support group in York, so I'm looking forward to that. Trying to enjoy life to the full. I'm very lucky I've travelled to all the places I ever wanted to see & there's nothing on my bucket list!! All the best. Clare
