Hi. This might be random, but after any heart procedure Not wearing a bra for a few month's helps enormously!

After my open heart procedure I was advised to wear a bra 24 hrs a day for about 6 weeks.

Me too. In fact I'm still wearing one day and night seven weeks after surgery as I find it more comfortable.

Yes, me too. I'm starting week 4 now. I'm used to it - it does make me feel more secure.

I had AVR which resulted in having to have a pacemaker so had to wear a bra to start with. Have now got some new bras with wide shoulder straps as I find them more comfy with the pacemaker, but must admit it does feel good to take it off when I get home from work 😛

I only had a stent. But was told not to wear anything but loose clothing. I didn't have open heart surgery. .After a few weeks I ditched the bra because it was hurting me. I just wore it if I was going out in the evening. Felt better.

Too uncomfortable to wear bra for a couple of weeks after valve replacement. Then wore the pull on crop tops for six weeks. Now wearing sports bras four months after. Still not back to underwires. Have had to change sizes twice

Depends on the weight of your boobs pulling on the scar while it’s healing. I bought pull on bras for support while my scar is knitting together.

I didn't have a scar but had a pressing pain all the time under my boobs. And was advised to not wear my bra. Until it felt comfortable.

I only wear it now when I go out but have ditched the underwired ones all together. Just wear Sports Bras.

I’ve never worn a wired bra probably cos of my heart condition but never felt they where comfortable

I went into bypass surgery not knowing anything as it was a bit of an emergency. After the op had the wires taken out of my bra. At the moment 8 weeks post op I wear a soft bra that does up at the front, much more comfortable. I have worn a wired bra a couple of times and it gets a bit uncomfortable towards the end of the day. I honestly think also that they have dropped a bit!!

Think we all drop a bit 😂 but it's whatever is suitable for the individual. And what kind of op it is. A few of my friends have had procedures all different. And some have been told to wear what's comfortable.

Which is pretty obvious 🤔
