Eventful Holiday

Over in Ireland last weekend and ended up in hospital after passing out four times last Saturday (twice in ambulance) nothing shown in bloods or ECG but advised to see my own GP when home. Called in to GP who was quite dismissive but after prompting suggested more blood tests. Nearly three years since heart attack and 4xCABG and have more travel plans in near future just wondering if I should push for a referral/scan?

Worth trying, my husband had HA 20 years ago which resulted in cardiac arrest but was left with a damaged heart. His condition was in operation so was prescribed medication. 5 years ago he passed out on plane on our way to Algarve, hospital u Algarve checked him over & said he was OK but had a few dizzy spells. Went to GP when we got home, saw a locum who referred him to hospital & he was fitted with an ICD. When we saw he usual GP he said he would have have just put the episode down to a faint!! If you're not happy, you can ask for 2nd opinion. Good luck x

I think you should certainly be pushing for something! This might be an issue with your meds which should be easy to resolve but feinting is not 'normal' and you should definitely try and find out what that is.
