blurred vission

nearly 5 months i think after my avr and still get blured visson and seems 2be getting worse ive booked a eye test but not 4 anorher 2 weeks.should i be worried thanks

Can not really help you about whether its something to be worried about. I had pvr 8 months ago and same problem. eye sight deteriorated massively- perception went up by ~1.00D in the 12 weeks post surgery. optician reviews but i know it has continued to deteriorate.

Hi mewg,

Blurred vision is incredibly common after heart surgery and can take several months to sort out. We wouldn't usually recommend you see an optician for at least 3 months anyway,so you are right to have waited till now to be getting it checked out. If you are particularly alarmed though,explain your situation/to the optician themself if you haven't already.

Otherwise, I hope you have been able to make a good recovery generally!
