Hello I was suffering from severe angina for 4 days a couple of weeks ago . It eventually passed without intervention then suddenly the last few days I started to get sudden bruising appear on my upper half , stomach , arms then a severe constant pain in my right arm . Even diazepam and strong painkillers after visting my gp being told it’s a trapped nerve doesn’t make sense as I have had no injury just severe angina. Sadly even those drugs aren’t helping the pain and been going on for several days . I can’t even lift my right arm above my shoulder and it’s agony . Anyone else had the same symptoms of pain and weakness in the arm after several days of angina pain ? Many thanks

Heart disease and effects on the nervous system?
Hi Tony, doesn't sound like after effects of angina. There shouldn't be bruising as it's affecting blood vessels around the heart. Have you knocked yourself against something? The trapped nerve also wouldn't cause bruising and the diazepam would ease that. I'm thinking more a frozen shoulder for that sort of pain, but please go to a&e I know its a wait but they are much better placed,
Mark
Thanks mark . I will do if it doesn’t ease up after the bank holiday weekend. My gp wanted me to go to A@E but I refused lol . After 3 heart attacks and complications I tend to try and avoid hospital until last resort . I’m a stubborn bugger lol . Happy Easter and thanks for the advice
I understand how you feel about Hospitals, but I think you should listen to your GP.
