Hi! I’m 47 and recently had a Prinzmetal Angina attack. My cholesterol and other bloods came back fine. It was due to stress! I need to find a way to relax a bit more - without feeling guilty! 😉😉

What sort of things do you like to do? I love walking (has the added benefit of being heart healthy too) and listening to an audio book while I do. I love doing anything creative - sewing my own clothes, making presents, printing, crochet... Creative activities are very good for a mindfulness approach - you get very drawn in to what you are doing. Yoga is nice too. And reading. Going to the cinema. I factor a lot of downtime into my weeks! Hope you find something you enjoy and definitely don't feel guilty for pursuing it! :)

Perhaps some counselling? I found it v helpful when I had to .learn to pace myself better. They’ helped me you deal with the ‘guilt’ element, too.

I’m a great believer in getting help before it gets too bad/hard to shift.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.
