My cardiologist sent me to a pulmonary specialist and it turn out that when I walked fast a pulse ox showed my oxygen saturation falling very low. The pulmonologist said this would also happen when I sleep. So, I am now on oxygen for activity and sleeping and being sent for more tests.

I have oxygen for walking, on a non-oxygen walk test I get down to the low 70's. I have no idea what happens at night, how can you tell.

My pumonary expert was probably basing that on theory. I searched the web and found a site that said when you sleep you breath more slowly and that can lead to a drop in oxygen saturation. I have been sleeping much longer since starting the oxygen, 9 hours as opposed to 6 hours.
