Warfarin and cold medicine

About 10 years ago I had my aortic valve replaced and was put on warfarin but now I have the flu and I’m on sure on what I can take for the symptoms it’s a Saturday so I’m unable to get to my one friend clinic to get some advice so is it there’s anyone out there that may be able to help me I’d be grateful

Hia, it may be to late but I know you're not allowed ibuprofen, and as aspirin is sometimes used for heart conditions I would avoid that. I've taken paracetamol and cocodomol without issues.

Ask the pharmacist, they will know what you can and can't take when on warfarin. The same is true for anything you take that you buy over the counter, even things like vitamins.
