Abandoned

Hello

I went for my stress test this morning, and was wired up and ready to go, however my blood pressure was up so they let me lay on the couch for 10 mins. I finally got on the treadmill but they waited to see if my blood pressure would go down but alas no, it was 198/80 so they abandoned it, saying their cut off was 180 so wouldn't go ahead with it. The physiologist who also did my Echo. last week said, they did get enough info from my echo, and would inform the cardiologist of todays outcome , he told me [ unofficially ] I had a mitral valve leak, and I should get an appointment to go back to the clinic, I hope I don't have to wait too long.

Hopefully you won’t have to wait to long Bowler. I too have mitral regurgitation amongst other things and am due to have surgery on the 28th.

Hope you get an appointment soon and get sorted. I am stil waiting for results of mine from 10 days ago. I did 87% it got to hard.
