Congratulations! It is great news and always a worrying time pre op...
So it's fantastic to get the other side and to know that the operation is really helping. Keep resting and very soon you will be back to living your life ... worry free x
Great news - its good to share good news to help others when they are not feeling so positive. I guess we all like to share in your good news showing that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Definitely good to share as i still really feel tired out, hurting but to hear my heart is better than before is the best news i could ever had heard..the pain and worry is worth it all just for this.
My friend said to me before my op stay positive through it all and i have thought of this everytime i have cried and felt down..its picked me up and 30 days later i hear her words and it helps me x
Hi Jenny, good to hear you are doing well after your surgery, have you got used to the clicking sound yet that was making you feel so down?
I went into AF on Wednesday collapsed and was taken by ambulance into hospital, discharged today on Bisoprolol, problem is I feel very dizzy and sick as my heart rate is now mid thirties at rest. Seeing the surgeon next week so will see what the plan is for redo surgery.
Onwards and upwards honey!!! The ticking subsides after about 3 months, your brain ignores it. Don`t wear ear plugs to bed because it magnifies the ticking to Big Ben levels. Rest and relax, eat plenty of protein, and drink plenty of wine! Take carex
Hi Jenny , glad l made you smile. lts 4.59am and l am awake due to Husbands loud snoring what joy! You will keep getting stronger but its a long hard slog. lf you spend too much time worrying about things it will do your head in. l decided to learn German, its a free site with all languages called "Duolingo" its quite good and keeps my brain focused on something other than my heart and depression. l have a hospital check up in two weeks, echo etc, and am going to meet up with my favourite two nurses who got me through weeks and weeks in lCU and High dependence at Bristol Royal lnfirmary. While l was in their wonderful devoted care l looked like a film star, "LASSIE" so l will make sure l am like a band box when l see them,l don`t want anyone singing "who let the dogs out"! The cement lorry to fill in the wrinkles is booked. Take care honey. Sue x
