I had a mitral valve repair 4 years ago but have now been told i have moderate to severe Tricuspid regurgitation after a recent annual echo. I wondered if anyone else has had this occurrence & if so, what was done about it? Can't say I fancy a second op!
Many thanks

I am in a similar position, had an AVR in 2011 with a tissue valve which now has severe regurgitation, I am due my second AVR next Tuesday but this time with a mechanical valve, particularly as I was very ill last year resulting in a splenectomy so my surgeon doesn't want the risk of further ops if I have another tissue valve.
Thank you for replying & sorry to hear you've got to endure further surgery. I hope this one goes well & the recovery is as quick as these operations allow. ( I know it can be a long haul) Post on here regarding your recovery as soon as possible as it helps to know that others understand what you're going through
