Saw my GP today who has seen a lot worse bruising than mine! The trouble is first time around it's all so unknown. I appreciate the support I got on here when I was worried - thank you all.

However she did give me some chilli cream for the nerve pain I am getting - an interesting concept but which makes sense now I have done some research. She has also signed me off for another 4 weeks and requested an x-ray as I am still breathless.

Will keep you posted.

Chilli cream? Can you put that on chicken? :-)

On a more serious note, when I started on antiplatelets, aspirin and clopidogrel, I bruised very easily as most do but nowadays I hardly bruise much at all in comparison. Does that mean the antiplatelets are losing their effectiveness?
