I'm mum to a wonderful daughter who was diagnosed with marfans 10 years ago when she suffered her first heart attack. She's had 3 lots of open heart surgery but is now doing well. She got married 2 years ago and leads a hectic life in London - I'm so proud of her. The BHF have been with us since that day and I find them a constant source of information and support and we've had several fantastic events to raise money because without them my daughter wouldn't be alive today.
