Recent Consultant appointment

Went to see my Consultant yesterday and we discussed the findings of my weak and painful hand. Was sent for xrays and back to my Consultant all within 15 minutes!

Although my xrays looked good upon examination, my Consultant agrees that he thinks I'm presenting with symptoms of Carpal tunnel. Next stop is for nerve conduction tests.

As I'm on Biologics, he has recommended that I stop taking my Leflunomide due to the amount of other medication that I take. He feels that this can also create other problems such as high blood pressure which I have and skin problems other than Psoriasis.

We shall see how I get on!

I'm doing ok thanks. Had some nerve conduction tests and definitely have a trapped nerve which is causing the pain, numbness and tingling. My Consultant has recommended that I have an operation on the nerve so just waiting to hear back from them.

This seems to have been going on now for a long time but really don't want an OP this side of Christmas! Hope you are well
