Discontinuing biologics

Has anyone successfully come off a biologic and is now using only local treatment?

I have been taking enbrel for 4 years and am considering discontinuing it for several reasons: expensive, hard to travel on it, side effects including weight gain, worsening of chronic depression.

Has anyone successfully come off of biologics and controls it now with local treatments?
