Kidney infection.

Hi all, myself and my 2 daughters suffer from psoriasis, my youngest daughter also has recurring kidney infections which can be quite serious. just wondering if the infections and the psoriasis are somehow linked or if anybody else has the same conditions 🤔

I have not heard of the Kidneys been infected with Psoriasis, I understand however our immune systems are overactive. Possibly, although I do not know

I have heard that it seems to attack internally as well sometimes it seems to get into my throat and back passage

Am going thru this currently. My GP has sent me to a kidney specialist - not a urologist- the term for kidney specialist escapes me at the moment. It's June and this has been going on since Feb. Have had 3 rounds of antibiotics (all different) and still have some sort of infection that will not culture. My appt is tomorrow. Could also be damage from all the medications for the 5 types of psoriasis I have - the worst being PPP. Best to you.
