Yes it does boost the immune system which in turn would make the symptons a lot lot worse.

Yea it does, I unknowingly took it daily for years and years which explains why my ulcers were so bad.

Even certain foods boost the immune system and essential oils.

I recently took it and it dawned on me why I was so bad.

Steer clear!

I have a friend with lupus and a friend with MS who have been advised NOT to take it or any alternative. From experience I cam categorically say that ot makes All my Bd symptoms worse.

It would also explain why I was so poorly for so long when I only have mild bd.

I used to take echinacea at the first sign of a cold or sore throat - this was a number of years ago. It took me some time to work out that the echinacea was making things much worse - but I got there in the end! I had thought it was just me, so it's interesting to read this post.

I also find that I am extremely sensitive to tea tree oil too, and get a sort of toxic reaction if I use more than a little bit. I know some forum members swear by it for a number of things, which I can totally understand - but I'd just say perhaps be careful not to use too much :-)
