I am supporting a friend who has severe symptoms. If they do very much on a good day, they suffer. We are looking for information, stories on successful PIP claims. Best wishes to all.

Hi, my best advice to you is to subscribe to Benefits and work site. For around £20 for the year you will literally get walked through the process of applying. Advice on what to include and the points system used in awards. It truly is an excellent resource. I hope your friend is successful x

Thanks you. Does anyone know of people with Bechet's who have made successful claims?

That's useful to know, it gives hope. Thank you. I am experienced in supporting PIP applications, so fingers crossed 🤞

Good luck but honestly so was I . As a social worker of 23 years before I fell ill I helped so hand people claim DLA now PIP but when I applied for myself I had no end of difficulty. I had to go to a Tribunal and still only received the lower rate. Using the Benefits and work site is exceptionally useful for people with `autoimmune diseases, so definitely worth getting.
