They feel so itchy but can't scratch as they'll get infected

Many thanks

Yes but they normally pop around that size then turn into an ulcer.

They start as small spots then day 2 go into blisters

Yes that's how my daughters and mine start, but ours aren't itchy. Have you started any new medication as it could be a reaction?

Hi yes and so glad you have posted. I've had this on my scalp for about 10 years on and off. Saw my rheum yesterday who said it wasn't Behcets. About 4 years on they were worse than ever and so I went to see him again armed with my diary and photos, lucking by the time I saw him I was having another flare on my scalp and down below, and he said yes I think it is another side of the disease. I now have them on my scalp and below and some on my arms and legs. Sometimes they feel like they are burning, sometimes itchy and other times throbbing. A couple of years ago I went to the London centre of excellence and they said no not Behcets. But I have been on this Behcets journey for over 30 years and back then they knew very little about BD. It took 12 years to get a probable diagnosis and another couple years for a definitive one. I have with the onset of the society and this site discovered that many of the symptoms I had back then were in fact and are now considered to be part of the diagnosis. I don't take any meds for these blisters and try not to scratch as I do not want to be on any of the hard meds again and I'm coping well. Hope this helps

Billi

Ps. If you do find that it is Behcets, would you please let me know and what the doctors said......thanks

I get those if I touch something may skin doesn't like, for example if I am gardening I have to cover my arms and hands so no skin is showing.

I personally have had this on my R arm. One down near my wrist. A few up higher on my R arm. Yes blistering, itchy then ulcerating, then crusty, slowly healing to purplish bruise that took a long time to fade.

Coincided with trial of Minocycline + Nilstat but had earlier been on Doxycycline + Nilstat. Also coincided with short flight to a holiday destination & more sun exposure & physical exertion than usual.

My GP thought it a sun sensitivity reaction. I personally think it might have been Shingles as it was accompanied by one-sided truncal diffuse severe muscle pain. Same side of body as the rash.

I've since had attacks of the one-sided severe muscle pain without rash which I think might be post-herpetic neuralgia. Just my thoughts. I've since talked to other Behcet's patients who also get Shingles.

I haven't yet got Behcet's diagnosis rather CFS, chronic Mycoplasma infection, tick-borne illness, fibromyalgia, depression, widespread arthropathy, food allergies & food intolerance, chemical contact allergies, History of severe skin problems of various kinds. ?HS ?Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder ?Psoriatic arthritis.

Hi yes I get blisters on arms legs hands and body, sometimes leaving scars. I haven't yet found a way to keep them at bay or heal them any quicker, if you find a way to get rid of them quickly , please share :-)

I get these too. Topical iodine clears them up.
