Hello Tamirra,

Do you mean anti-TNF necrolysing factor drugs? If so, this a range of drugs to treat her Behcet's disease.

These are a form of chemo-therapy which will knock out her over-active immune system which is causing most of the problems. Some of these drugs are taken orally, there is one which you have to inject yourself once a week and some others require a visit to hospital as they are infused into the blood vessel like most anti-cancer chemo-therapy drugs.

Some of us have taken these drugs, and personally I have found Infliximab which I have been receiving by infusion for over three years extremely good, as I do not suffer from huge flares any more, just mild ones which are quite easy to deal with. There are many others anti TNF drugs, and as they are very expensive, doctors are always careful about prescribing them.

I hope your daughter gets sorted soon.
