Severe neck pain andunable to move my neck . The pain is at the base of my head and radiates tp my neck. Can anyone help? Its very frighten
Hi Moonflower, you need to see your doctor and insist on a scan. It could be many things and you really need to find answers. Don't be afraid ....be brave and find the cause so that you can get treatment. It could be part of BD or something else but you need to know.then you won't be so frightened.

Hi Moonflower...I agree with Billi that you need to be brave and go to the Doctors and ask for a scan. It could be just a pulled muscle or something similar, but either way you do need to know.
I have visited an osteopath in the past but wouldn't advise this until you find out what is causing it. We have a Minor Injuries Walkin Service at an xray department in one of my local hospitals. Perhaps you could look online and see if you have something similar. They will be able to assess it today without an appointment and sort out a scan/xray and assist with a neck brace should you need it.
In the meantime for the pain [just in case you cannot get to a Dr soon] I use a packet of frozen peas wrapped in a Tea Towel and place it in the area 3 times a day for around 15 minutes.

Hi Moonflower, you do without a doubt need to see a doctor and get a scan Hun. BD brings lots of scary stuff our way. Be brave Hun, this my or may not be related to BD, but needs sorting ASAP. Hugs C x x
Hi moonflower, I started having similar neck issues a couple of years ago and it was bd related. It came from out of the blue......was extremely painful.....shortly after, I started getting dizzy and unbalanced and then lost complete hearing. I would encourage u to get scan asap. Hopefully its just muscle spasms....sending prayers
