Periods 2 weeks apart

hi all,

I'm 18 months into the coil and have been having periods 2 weeks apart. They're red and normal, with normal cramping.

So is this normal? Do I need to call the doctor? I feel fine apart from it just being annoying!

Presume this is the copper and not hormonal coil ? Have you had sti screening ? smear ?
