Combined pill question
Ok number one I would do a pregnancy test just to check as all methods have a small failure rate. There is a difference between headaches and migraines and the doc needs to make an assessment of that. Microgynon is 30mcg oestradiol if CHC is safe then you could switch to a 20mcg pill. Or consider progesterone only or non hormonal method. All depends on your preference.
I had to change from Microgynon to the POP pill and I found it more difficult as the window to take the POP pill is a lot shorter than the combined pill. I ended up having a copper coil which I loved, no hormones. Period was a bit more painful but nothing I couldn't cope with. However, I started to experience pelvic pain when my coil was changed and ended up on Depo injection. Great as I didn't have to remember to take it but it made me put on weight and my mood was very low. I have since been sterilized so no more birth control for me but I am still waiting for a period 5 months on from stopping the depo shots!
