I am currently taking the progesterone-only pill which I should take everyday. I have recently started my period. Should I still carry on taking the pill everyday throughout the period or stop?

continue. It may not be a normal period , it may be unscheduled bleeding on the POP. You should continue to take the POP every single day whether there is bleeding or not.
