First time with chlamydia

I have just been told I have chlamydia.

I have no idea how long I have had it and that is stressing me out. But, what I am wondering is should I just bin all my sex toys? I am the only one who uses them, is there a way that I can clean them/ sterilize them? Also stupid as it sounds I want to bin all my knickers too? should I or will a boiling wash be enough?

I would sterilise sex toys using alcohol gel or wipes. Chlamydia cant be transferred from underwear, so a simple wash should be fine. There is no test for the duration of infection - only from the last time you did a test.
