I started masturbating and I was hard and now I can’t stay hard for long time.

Hi all,

I am new to all this. The problem I am having is I masturbated tonight for a bit and then after a while I went soft and now I have the problem going hard again and maintaining the time, as I am still soft and floppy trying to get hard?

P.S. I have been staying up late and I have anxieties.

Pretty much answered your own question your worries and stress will cause you to not have straight train of thought so you can’t Maintain interest in that activity.

Thank you for the reply and I worry I won’t be able to get hard again though since this is the first time it’s happened to me.

This is entirely normal - ask any man over the age of 25. Men do not normally get erections "on demand". You are normal - get used to it.

And worrying about it makes things worse - as mrscrazycookie says.

Thank you for giving me some reassurance and supporting me on my problem. I shall try and get more sleep and stop my anxieties and give my body a break.

How long do you think I will get back to normal balls and hard ons?

It may take a few weeks to a month or two; it does depend on how long your anxieties remain.

I would be more worried about where your balls have gone. Have they retracted into your body or have they not dropped yet. If it is either, but especially the latter you should see a Doctor urgently.

Wouldn't worry if it's a one off problem -- prob due to stress/tiredness , anxiety, feeling run down etc. Also too much (Unreasonable amount!) masturbating could effect it. At your young age, once a day shoudn't be too much but if your trying three/four every single day then that's your problem !! lol Watching lots of porn every single day etc can lead to you body not quite responding to things as much. Try to eat sleep & relax a bit more. If things continue to be a problem seek expert help.Don't worry but do go and get proper help if you do need it. It's not as embarrassing as you may think. I've had to go to GUM clinics as i managed to get genital herpes from unprotected BJ's. The clinic staff there were all great.

Hope things have improved and now back to normal.
