Hi, if I was exposed to Chlamydia yesterday - would a doctor give me the treatment given it's highly possible it'll develop? I.e. Can they give a PEP style treatment for post-exposure?

If you know for definite that you may have been exposed to Chlamydia (ie the person told you they have it) most clinics will give you the treatment before your results come back. If you aren't sure / just assuming that your recent sexual partner may have chlamydia probably best to wait two weeks then go and have a test rather than taking antibiotics which you may not need.

Hi, the person told me they have it literally the day after sex (they got results day after). Thanks for your help.
