It's quite normal I get it a lot, buy the cream to stop the itching as your partner to use the cream too buy fluconazole (the pill to swallow ) I sometimes take another a couple of days after, then it should be cleared !!
its fairly common to get thrush or cystitis from sex with a new partner,not much you can do to prevent it I'm afraid it over the counter creams such as
