contraception and cover

I just started the combined pill last week at the end of my period and so it states it will take 7 days before I am fully covered by this form of contraception. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days ago (day 5 of the pill) and so I went to the pharmacist for emergency contraception and took the morning after pill. When I see him again tomorrow there's a high chance we'll have sex again - now I am on day 8 of the combined pill am I safe to have sex without a condom or do I need to continue with them until my next period occurs?

Hi, was it ella one you took? In that case you need to use condoms for another seven days.
