NHS antenatal classes?

The NHS website finds no future classes (it only shows me private hypnobirthing etc. and I’ve got no response from my midwife/GP yet...

Appreciate they will have been cancelled due to COVID, but I thought they’d have some for in 3/4 months time? Is anyone else finding the same or are they up and running in your area? Advice welcome!

We haven't had access to any NHS antenatal classes either, not even online. We did a zoom online class for multiples through the twins trust which is obviously not much help but there may be other online types of classes going on in your area even if you cant attend anything due to covid. Hopefully your midwife can give you more information.xx

I think it’s unlikely that they will restart soon but you might be lucky and get some in a few months time.

If you can afford it private classes might be the way forward. Like flounder84 I’d recommend the Daisy foundation. I didn’t do the maternity classes but I did start them with my baby when he was 3 weeks and we loved them and met lots of friends (they set up a FB page and WhatsApp group so you’d get to chat to lots of people who are due at the same time as you).

Good luck

On instagram the honest midwife is really good to follow Her 1st class is free then if you want to do additional they are really reasonably priced.
