Sensitive post- dating scan scan went well 👌🏻

Well I survived the early weeks with my usual terrifying spotting that I’ve endeared with every pregnancy 😱😱😱 didn’t have many symptoms either. 😬

I had to attend alone as partners were not allowed to attend the scan the way it stands dads can attend the 20 week. It was scary to attend alone you are never sure if everything is okay, I felt bad my husband wasn’t able to see our baby on the screen but can’t be helped. I burst into tears when I saw the baby!

Very relieved to have passed this huge milestone.

Yes, I can imagine! It's a shame your husband couldn't be with you though. Will he be allowed at thr anomaly scan? All OK with me, I think! 😂 Having waves of nausea so I'm taking that as a good sign, although I'm lucky and it's pretty tame! My scan is on 13th October, but I'm really itching for a private one as I still can't believe it is real. When is your EDD? Xx

The way it currently stands he can attend the 20 weeks scan 👌🏻All areas differ - mine don’t allow partners at 12 weeks scan as they run their maternity clinic in the mornings & 20 weeks scan are afternoon slots.The early weeks are so tough 😬 I couldn’t let myself feel too attached until I saw the scan 😬 a private scan def sounds the way to go- i wish I had before my nhs one! Scan makes it feel very real! We are due 3rd April the baby measured a day ahead. The nausea sounds very promising I never had any except a horrible aversion to chocolate !😳 xxx

Aw Jess I’m so pleased it went well today. Going to scans alone is just the worst, I remember being terrified at every one that it wouldn’t be ok but it was.
