Scared to give birth

Hey im new to this forum and not sure if this is the best place to write this but i am so scares of giving birth. Not because of the pain but im scared im going to die , mainly from blood clots. I keep hearing all these stories and im so scared and convinced im.not going to see my little baby and leave my boyfriend alone. Anyone else have this fear?

Hi Kylie! Congratulations on your little one! My advice to you is to forget all those stories, every woman is different and all the experiences as well. They warn you at the hospital and give you medication and a list of symptoms you might have if any blood clot forms. The health service is great in here. Any doubt you have ask your midwife, they are very helpful also if you need they can refer you to a therapist. Wish you a good hour!

I had my little boy 5 months ago and from the minute I got pregnant I was terrified. It’s a very natural feeling, anyone who says they aren’t scared have to be lying. But trust me that fear goes without even realising, as soon as you go into labour all you care about is the fact you are going to have a baby!! You have so many emotions but the biggest one in that moment is happiness I promise you. It’s crazy but you just deal with it at the time! You’ll be fine! Believe in yourself xx
