How I get tested for Autism?

I was on the waiting list at Camhs for Autism Diagnosis as a teenager, but I was too embarrassed/ashamed at the time so I turned it down. Who do I ask for a diagnosis? What happens after that?

U have to go through ur gp but it’s about a two year wait if not longer in some counties

Adult services, possible as Dr or social services.

Would help if said area your residing in? as every area has a different criteria/set up.

Would Camhs be Cambridge area or Scotland or Cornwall?
