i had one last year and suffered no side effects whatsoever xxx
Sound ok then. I have been invited to have it this Saturday (6 Oct), and was
slightly concerned I may be 'out of order' by next Saturday, which is the date
of the big bash at Stanstead. x
I have the flu jab every year...... its no biggie, you may have an ache in the upper arm where you had the injection for a day or two though which can be a little uncomfortable.

Ooh, I wish you hadn't mentioned NEEDLES Andy!
Hi
I would rather a needle than flu. I have had the jag for the past few years and have never had any problem with it apart from a little arm ache that Andy mentioned. I have only had flu once before (before I started having the injections) and it knocked me for 6. I would do absolutely anything to try and prevent having flu again.

Thanks Harry! Well put.
No side affects for me. didn't even feel the needle going in.
I have had the jab [sorry wobblybee] it has no side affects apart from as andy-c says an ache afterwards in some people the only thing I will say is wear something sleeveless or with lose sleeves you won't have time to do anything other than role your sleeve up it is so quick.
Hi, I've had it for the last 25 years - never know it's done - with no side effects at all.
Doug.

had for 1st time last year - no hesitation this tjme!
Hi,
I was diagnosed with CA in 1997. I've been getting a 'Flu Jab' every year since then. I can't remember before. I was still working in 2005 and I must have been 'run down'. Each year I queue up with the 'Purple Rinse' Brigade. I think I'm relatively healthy and I suffer very little and I rarely pass anything on to my grandchildren.
I'm already booked this year, I feel no side effects. In fact the most painful part is removing the plaster the nurse puts on!
AB
i also have had flu jab for years due to asthma apart from sore arm you can feel achy for fewdays i usually take a parecetomal after flu jab which usually helps
same as most, do the same as Gossy, no side effects - why do they say "you will only feel a small scratch" ?
Mmm! Why don't they come up with something more inventive, rather than 'a small
scratch'? I started nurse training way back when (in the 60s), but had to stop
because I found if difficult to give someone an injection. (You would think that I
would have considered the possibility beforehand.) Practicing on oranges is
all well and good but faced with a real living posterior is something else. A brave man
volunteered, the medication was streptomycin, I managed but enough was enough!
Finally had the flu jab! We got there 5min before it closed, so the GP had lots
of practice before he got to me, it was so quick I hardly had time to think about it!
I have been having flu jab for many years and I agree with albecO1 it's removing the plaster that is more noticeable than the jab itself.
No have it
